I have really enjoyed entering the street photography competition run by Lens Culture. Not only does it create a deadline for a personal project but as part of the competition you can request, for a nominal fee, a written critique of your entries. I entered last year and the critique was very helpful. This year's critique continues to allow me to look at my photos through someone else's eyes.
